2012 Bladder Cancer Walk
Happy Monday everyone! I thought I would share some of the pictures from the 2012 Bladder Cancer Walk in Fort Walton Beach that I walked with my mom last weekend. My mom was diagnosed with cancer 3 years ago. I was very thrilled that I was able to join & walk to help raise awareness for Bladder Cancer since it’s not recognized like “Breast Cancer” and other cancers etc.. I had a great time walking with my mom and meeting other survivors and their supporters.
The woman pictured with my mom is Karen Clifford, who was one of the Bladder Cancer survivors and who also orchestrated the entire event! She was very, very sweet and I had the pleasure of meeting her.

My dad has always been there for me! I love him so much. Even though, now that I am taller than him, I will always be his son!

Recently I heard about the Walker Family and how they have been through SO much and are still standing strong as a family — the fact that they are devoting their lives to preventing what happened to them from happening to anyone else is just incredible. They are turning something so tragically negative into something positive and I am blown away by their strength.
